Wythnos/week 9: 29 Medi/September – 5 Hydref/October 1914

Trawyd tair Criwser Brydeinig â thorpido ar Fôr y Gogledd – Aboukir, Hogue a Cressy.  Mae Maer Aberteifi, Mr R.W. Picton Evans, yn mynd i ffwrdd i’r rhyfel.  Mae cymdeithas leol y Groes Goch yn dal ati gyda’i hymdrechion a Blanche Jones-Parry, Tŷ Llwyd, Beulah yn gofyn am gymorth i’r ffoaduriaid o Wlad Belg.

Three British Cruisers have been torpedoed in the North Sea – the Aboukir, Hogue and Cressy.  Cardigan Mayor, Mr R.W. Picton Evans, is off to war.  The local Red Cross Society is still continuing its endeavours for the war effort and Blanche Jones-Parry, Ty Llwyd, Beulah is asking for assistance for the Belgian refugees.
