Wythnos 23/Week 23: 5-11 Ionawr/January 1915

Mae hanes y gath yn dechrau diflasu teulu Bronwydd! Ymddengys fod adroddiadau am wŷr yn ymrestru ar dwf (mae pedwar o feibion Mr a Mrs Timothy Jones, Castellnewydd Emlyn wedi ymuno â’r fyddin ers dechrau’r rhyfel) a bydd Nyrs George o Gilgerran yn dychwelyd i Ffrainc cyn bo hir. Ceir sôn eto am y ffoaduriaid o Wlad Belg, ac mae Llywodraeth Ffrainc wedi dychwelyd i Paris.

The story of the cat is wearing a bit thin for the Bronwydd family! Reports of men enlisting seem to be on the increase (four sons of Mr and Mrs Timothy Jones, Newcastle Emlyn have joined the army since the outbreak of the war) and Nurse George of Kilgerran will shortly be returning to her duties in France. The Belgian refugees are again mentioned and the French Government has returned to Paris.
