Yn yr Aberystwyth Observer ceir amrywiaeth o erthyglau diddorol gan gynnwys ‘Borth Tit-Bits’ sy’n sôn am Mrs J. Morgans yn derbyn ‘Princess Mary Gift Box’ oddi wrth ei brawd o faes y gad, a ‘Could not help it’ sy’n adrodd hanes Randolph Fear, siopwr yn Aberystwyth, a gafodd ddirwy o bum swllt am werthu afalau ac orennau i Diriogaethwyr ar ddydd Sul.  Mae pytiau’r wythnos hon o’r ‘Cardigan and Tivyside Advertiser’ yn cynnwys ‘Bedd y Milwr’ – cerdd gan Rees Rees (Teifi) ynglŷn â bedd unig rhyw filwr a gladdwyd yn bell o’i famwlad a thŷ ei dad, a ‘Zeppelinitis’ – llun ar gerdyn post o Berlin yn dangos dau blentyn yn chwarae â thegan Zeppelin.

The Aberystwyth Observer contains some interesting articles including ‘Borth Tit-Bits’ in which Mrs J. Morgans receives a ‘Princess Mary Gift Box’ from her brother at the front and ‘Could not help it’ in which Randolph Fear, an Aberystwyth shopkeeper, is fined 5 shillings for selling oranges and apples to Territorials on a Sunday.  This week’s clippings from the’ Cardigan and Tivyside Advertiser’ are ‘Bedd y Milwr’ ,- a poem by Rees Rees (Teifi) regarding the lonely grave of a soldier buried far from his homeland and his father’s house and ‘Zeppelinitis’– an image from a Berlin postcard depicting 2 children and a toy Zeppelin.

Evan Stanley Evans, born in Lampeter but had moved to Swansea, aged 24.  Died at Ypres. Buried in Aubres Ridge British Cemetery, France. Private, Devonshire Regiment.
