Wythnos 32/Week 32: 9-15 Mawrth/March 1915

Mae Pwyllgor Addysg Sir Aberteifi yn gwahodd milwyr a darpar filwyr i ddosbarthiadau nos yn Aberystwyth. Sonnir am effaith y rhyfel yn fyd-eang yn yr erthygl ‘Gair o Scranton’ sy’n crybwyll y gofyn i deuluoedd Cymreig yr ardal gyfrannu arian at yr achos.  Bu’r Gwarchodlu Cymreig ar wyliadwriaeth ym Mhalas Buckingham a Phalas Sant Iago – nid oeddent eto’n gwisgo bathodynnau i’w hamlygu – ac yn Aberteifi cafodd ymgeisydd am lwfans ymwahanu ei siomi’n fawr â’i lwfans.

Cardiganshire Education Committee invites soldiers and prospective soldiers to attend evening classes in Aberystwyth. ‘Gair o Scranton’ comments on the effect of the war worldwide and how Welsh families in the Scranton area are being approached to donate financially towards the cause.  The Welsh Guards mounted guard over Buckingham Palace and St. James’ Palace,- as of yet they wear no distinguishing badge whilst in Cardigan an applicant for separation allowance is decidedly disappointed with his allowance.
