Ceir tipyn o wybodaeth am ei yrfa fel morwr ac yn ddiddorol cofnodwyd ei fod yn is-gapten ar y llong gleifion S.S. Agadir  o’r  9fed o Dachwedd, 1914 tan y 3ydd o Ebrill, 1916.

‘Continuous Certificate of Discharge’  B. J. Davies of Henllan. A description of B. J. Davies is to be found on the first page of the document and his photograph in the back. The certificate records his seafaring career from the 21st of January 1900 to the 21st of September 1918. Interestingly he is serving as 1st Mate aboard the hospital ship the S.S.
