Ar y 9fed o Ragfyr enlistiodd John James , Gilwern, Buarth Rd. yn Aberystwyth. Llofnodwyd ei ffurflen gan Uwchgapten L. J. Matthias.

Gweler hysbysiad gan y ‘Pavilion’ yn Aberteifi am gyngerdd ar ddydd Calan 1916 – y ffoaduriaid o Belg yn perfformio.

Yn ôl Howell Morgan, Medical Hall, Cardigan mae trethi rhyfel a’r galw am fwy o de gan y Cynghreiriaid yn golygu y fod te wedi codi mewn pris.

Yn olaf mae ‘Bowen Bros’ o Aberteifi yn hysbysu eu pwdin Nadolig. Yn ol nhw gellir ddanfon pwdin Nadolig mewn tun i’r milwyr sydd dramor.

John James of Gilwern, Buarth Rd. enlists with the Army Reserve from the Aberystwyth station. His form is signed by Major L. J. Matthias.

The ‘Pavilion’ advertises a professional concert to be held on New Year’s night 1916,  the distinguished artistes being the Belgian refugees, Messrs. Laoubreux, Staquet, Van Adorpe and Guillame.

Howell Morgan takes out an advertisement explaining the rise in tea prices – a combination of war taxes and the Russians giving up vodka and buying more and more tea.

Finally, Christmas is approaching and Bowen Bros of Cardigan advertise their Xmas puddings and state that the ‘Crosse & Blackwell’s Plum Puddings’ are ‘of superior quality in Tins for sending out to the Troops Abroad’.
