Yr wythnos yma mae Mrs. Davies, Sychpant o ‘Landyssil’ yn derbyn carden bost oddi wrth Enoch. Gweler y garden yma yng nghasgliad ADX/740,- papurau sy’n ymwneud a gyrfa John Alaska Davies o Sychpant, Horeb. (Ceir cyfeiriad hefyd at Enoch yn y plac ‘Not at Home’ yn wythnos 22 o’r Blog yma).

Mae yna adroddiad ar y diweddar George Bowen o Aberteifi a enwyd yng ngholledigion y Sir yr wythnos diwetha’.

Cynhaliwyd arwerthiant i godi arian i’r Groes Goch yn Aberteifi ac y mae Griff James yn cyfansoddi pennill ar bris y dorth a werthwyd am £5 3s!

Newyddion o Dalgarreg,- mae’r merched wedi sefydlu dosbarth gwau a gwnio ac y mae Herbert Owen adre’ ar ol ei anafu yn Ypres.

Yn Llanbedr pont Steffan cofnodir Grace Ellen Williams y bod Miss Evans o Ysgol y Babanod Peterwell i ffwrdd gan fod ei brawd yn gadael y wlad tra fod y ferch fach Philomene o Wlad Belg yn gadael am Lundain.

This week Mrs Davies, Sychpant of Llandyssil receives a Field Service Post Card sent by Enoch. This card is held in our ADX/740 collection -  ‘Papers relating to the career of John Alaska Davies of Sychpant, Horeb’. (This is also the same Enoch mentioned in week 22 on the ‘Not at Home’ plaque dated December 21st 1914)

The Cardigan and Tivyside has a report on the death of Corpl. George Bowen who was mentioned in last week’s Cardiganshire losses.

A Red Cross sale is held in Cardigan and Griff James composes a few lines to commemorate the sale of a loaf at the princely sum of £5 3s!

Some news from Talgarreg,- the ladies of the district have formed a knitting and sewing class for the purpose of providing comforts for the troops and Owen Herbert is now at home after being wounded at Ypres.

Meanwhile in Lampeter Grace Ellen Williams records that Miss Evans of Peterwell Infants School is granted leave of absence as her brother leaves the country for service, and Philomene, a little Belgian pupil, leaves Lampeter for London.

Finally, there are 2 losses recorded.
