Mwy o newyddion drwg yn y Cambrian News,- adroddiad am farwolaeth Preifat David Lewis Richards. Yn ystod ei dro olaf adref roedd Preifat Richards wedi mynychu angladd ei gymrawd Preifat Trefor Lewis.

Cynhaliwyd gwasanaeth coffa yng Ngoginan i Preifat William J. Davies, y cyntaf o fechgyn y pentre i syrthio a derbyniwyd gwybodaeth yn Llanbedr pont Steffan am farwolaeth Is gapten Jack Harford, mab hynaf Uwchgapten J.C. Harford, Falcondale. Hefyd mae Mr E.W. Richards wedi cynnwys enwau rhestr o arwyr mewn ffram dderw hardd.

Mae toriadau o’r Welsh Gazette a’r Cambrian News sy’n cyfeirio at farwolaeth cynddisgyblion yn cael eu cynnwys yn llyfr cofnodion Ysgol Sirol Ardwyn.

Mae Capten Thomas, Blaenbargoed wedi dychwelyd adre’ ar ol colli ei long pan ei thrawyd gan dorpido.

Bethania, -stori a diweddglo hapus yn son am briodas Preifat J. W. Evans, Cnwcyrosfa a Miss Jones, Annandale-road.

Mae Miss Daisy Jones o Bontrhydygroes yn derbyn cerdyn bost oddi wrth TJB sy’n gofyn iddi pam nad yw wedi priodi eto.

Yn olaf hysbyseb cocoa arall,- y tro yma cyfres Women Workers’ Rhif 4.

More bad news in the Cambrian News,- a report on the death of Private David Lewis Richards who on his last leave had attended the funeral of his comrade Private Trefor Lewis.

A memorial service is held in Goginan for Private William J. Davies, the first from the village to fall, and information is received at Lampeter of the death of Lieutenant Jack Harford, eldest son of Major J.C. Harford of Falcondale.

Also in Lampeter, Mr E. W. Richards has enclosed a list of heroes in a beautiful oak frame.

Clippings regarding the deaths of former pupils from the Welsh Gazette and the Cambrian News are to be found in the Ardwyn County School minute book.

Captain Thomas, Blaenbargoed has returned to Llanarth having lost his ship through being torpedoed.

Bethania, and a story with a happy ending as Private J. W. Evans of Cnwcyrosfa marries Miss Jones, Annandale-road.

Miss Daisy Jones of Ponrhydygroes receives a postcard from TJB in France who asks why she is still not married.

Finally another cocoa advert ,- this time Women Workers’ Series -No 4.
