Mae’r Capten Gwilym James yn cael gwybod ynghylch aildrefnu’r cyfrifoldeb dros amrywiol reilffyrdd.

Caiff prisiau cnydau 1917 a’r amodau masnachu eu cyhoeddi yn rhifyn Awst 20 The Farmer and Stockbreeder.

Mae Maer Aberteifi wedi derbyn llythyrau lu oddi wrth fechgyn Aberteifi’n diolch iddo ef a phobl Aberteifi am eu parseli. Mae’r Preifat Tom Johns (Plasterer’s Arms) yn ddiolchgar iawn am y sanau a gafodd oherwydd i rywun fachu ei bâr olaf!

Cynhelir cyfarfod cyhoeddus yn Llandysul i groesawu’r Corporal Evan Lloyd, sydd wedi ei argymell ar gyfer y Fedal Filwrol.

Mae Llyfr Log Llanafan yn cofnodi marwolaeth David Lewis a laddwyd mewn brwydr ac yn y Cardigan and Tivyside mae ‘Twm Nansi’ yn nodi bod llawer o feirdd talentog ifanc Cymru wedi cwympo yn y rhyfel, y diweddaraf ohonynt i gael ei enwi ar y Gofrestr Anrhydedd yw  Hedd Wyn o Drawsfynydd.

Captain Gwilym James receives further communication regarding the redistribution of charge of various railway lines.

The prices for 1917 crops and the conditions of trading are published in the August 20th edition of The Farmer and Stockbreeder.

The Mayor of Cardigan receives a ‘shoal of letters’ from the Cardigan lads thanking him and the people of Cardigan for their parcels. Private Tom Johns (Plasterer’s Arms) is especially grateful for the socks he has received as someone has pinched his last pair!

A public meeting is held in Llandyssul to welcome Corporal Evan Lloyd who has been recommended for the Military Medal.

The death of David Lewis who has been killed in action is recorded in the Llanafan school Log book and in the Cardigan and Tivyside ‘Twm Nansi’ notes that many of Wales’ young talented poets have fallen in the War, the latest of them to be named on the Roll of Honour being Hedd Wyn of Trawsfynydd.
