Parha a wneir trafodaethau ynglŷn â chynnal yr Eisteddfod Genedlaethol yn Aberystwyth yn 1916.

Mae Mrs James, Compton House, Llanbedr pont Steffan wedi derbyn llythyr oddi wrth ei mab, Preifet J. T. James yn son am ei brofiadau yn y rhyfel.

Cynhaliwyd cyfarfod o ffermwyr yn ysgol Penparc. Maent yn achwyn am ddiffyg gweithwyr amaethyddol.

Ceir mwy o newyddion yn War Items am ddynion o ardal Aberteifi,- Ronw Hughes ag Edgar Rees o Aberteifi; Benjamin John o Flaenffos; T. O. Jones o Lechryd.

Diflas yw cofnodi marwolaethau John Gale Southby a David Davies,- y ddau yn marw o’u clwyfau.

This week there are photographs of the Edwards’ boys of Llangwyryfon who were also mentioned in the previous week’s Cambrian News. There is also a photograph of Private David J. Jones of Ffair Rhos (again mentioned in previous week’s Cambrian News) who has received the Distinguished Conduct medal and Russian Order of St. George.

Discussions continue with regard to Aberystwyth holding the 1916 National Eisteddfod.

Sergeant James of Lampeter writes home to his mother of his experiences at the front.

Farmers are complaining of great hardships owing to the scarcity of labour available whilst War Items has further reports regarding men of Cardigan area.

Sadly there are 2 losses to report: John Gale Southby who had been wounded at Gallipoli and David Davies who was injured in the Givenchy area and died of his wounds.
